How we eat and what we eat is changing, and changing fast. Yet, plant-based products are still seen as an “alternative”, which usually means a compromise. We are changing that starting with our ‘Collection 01’, a dairy-free experience consisting of three products: Burrella, Crematta and Superstraccia.

We are a rapidly growing venture-backed food brand that has raised over £6m to date from top tier investors. Currently, we are hiring for London-based roles with ample opportunities to build, learn, and grow. The team is composed of experienced operators with backgrounds in building long lasting F&B concepts as well as high scale tech ventures.

 

The Role

We are looking for a dynamic and self-starter individual to join our team as a Commercial Manager to look after grocery retail accounts. Our business is growing fast, hence requiring agility, analytic acumen, and strategic thinking to deliver results both for our business and to customers.

 

 

What you’ll do

  • ●  Own the relationship with grocery retailers to deliver results against their requirements

  • ●  Monitor the full customer P&L to continuously measure and exceed goals

  • ●  Explore growth opportunities within your accounts whilst keeping your business informed

  • ●  Manage CRM and retailer systems rigorously

  • ●  Utilise data and insights to make strategic decisions and drive growth

  • ●  Produce a sales forecast, monitor, and report

  • ●  Plan, arrange, and review promotional activity for your customers

  • ●  Work cross functionally with marketing team to plan activations

  • ●  Optimise supply chain and determine most efficient route-to-market for customers

  • ●  Manage day-to-day account admin such as invoicing, accruals, and customer onboarding

  • ●  Deliver internal reporting for the commercial and the leadership teams

  • ●  Develop successful, long-term, and strategic relationships across the business

 

 

Requirements

  • ●  Experience of 3+ years in a multinational FMCG company, a VC backed successful food start-up, or top 4 UK grocery retailer (Tesco, Sainsbury’s, ASDA, Morrison’s)

  • ●  Passion for food and a shared vision to deliver an exceptional service to customers

  • ●  Commercial acumen to build and understand P&L to make strategic decisions and drive

    top and bottom line growth

  • ●  Exceptional negotiation skills

  • ●  Perform great people skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate

    successful outcomes

  • ●  Dynamic and presents a “can do” approach to move the business forward whilst wearing

    multiple hats to cater for different customers’ needs.
