Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement creative social media strategies to broaden our brand reach and engagement.
- Manage day-to-day operations of all social media channels, tailoring content for diverse channels and audiences.
- Oversee, plan, and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Buffer, Asana, and Later.
- Create and coordinate engaging multimedia content with the support of our content creator community across multiple social platforms.
- Launch and manage competitions, activations and campaigns that bolster our brand.
- Develop relationships with influencers across social media platforms.
- Conduct audience research to understand consumer trends and plan social media campaigns accordingly.
- Manage social media communities by responding to posts and developing discussions.
- Monitor, track, and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Insights.
- Continually optimise content to encourage community interaction and engagement.
- Research and evaluate the latest tools and techniques to improve measurement of social media activity.
- Analyse competitor activity and recommend improvements to increase performance.
- Set targets to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Manage budgets for social media activities and track expenditure.
- Foster cross-team and cross-departmental collaboration.

- Education and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, journalism, business, or a related field would be preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Social Media Manager or similar role in a business or agency setting.
- Technical Skills: Comprehensive understanding of all major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat) and familiarity with their respective algorithms, best practices, and audiences.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Buffer, Asana, and Later).
- Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other analytics tools such as Google Looker.
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Skilled with creating and editing multimedia content (photos, videos, graphics).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills.
- Proven ability to create engaging and visually appealing content across various social media platforms.
- Experience in launching community initiatives (e.g., building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series).
- Organisational Skills: Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with project management and team collaboration tools.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship management skills to network with influencers, online community members, and potential partners. Comfortable working within a team as well as independently.
- Passionate about the plant-based food industry.
- Ability to work flexibly, including outside regular office hours when required, to support social media campaigns and community management.
- Prior experience in the food & beverage industry, especially plant-based food, is a plus.
- Able to legally work in the UK.
